"They are quality people, students and athletes that will fit in perfectly with our program's core values and style of play.  They come from high-level environments that will prepare them for the transition to college soccer.  This is a powerful moment for the program, and we can't wait to get them on campus with the Bears family."
Brooke Cattoor • 5-5 • Fr. • M • St. Peters, Mo. • Fort Zumwalt South High    Cattoor racked up 34 goals and 24 assists en route to leading her high school squad to a 26-1 mark and a Missouri Class 3 state championship. A member of Lou Fusz Athletic, Cattoor contributed to her club squad winning USYS Regionals and qualifying for USYS Nationals. She was also awarded the golden ball and Best 11 at USYS Nationals.      Coach Nelson on Cattoor:    "Brooke is a goal scorer.  She is midfield player that is solid in all four phases of the game.  She is a fierce competitor that has played in high-level competition.  She will immediately make an impact and help us become more dangerous in the attack and defense."      Reilly Heman • 5-10 • Fr. • F/M • Springfield, Mo. • Glendale High    As a member Kansas Rush 05, Heman was a two-time USYS ODP Interregional Team selection as well as a Rush National Team selection. She was also named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team and selected as the Missouri Sports Commission Hall of Fame Girls Soccer Player of the Year.
Coach Nelson on Heman:    "Reilly is a midfield player that covers a ton of ground in the game.  She consistently creates dangerous opportunities by breaking lines on and off the ball.  We are excited for her to come in and compete from day one."
Emma Yeager • 5-8 • Fr. • F • Kingwood, Texas • Kingwood Park High     At Kingwood Park (Texas) High, Yeager accounted for 93 goals in three seasons so far, earning first-team all-state honors in both her freshman and sophomore seasons. To this point in her tenure, the Panthers have yet to lose a match in district play. Yeager was also a member of the 05 ECNL Challenge Soccer Club.      Coach Nelson on Yeager:    "Emma possesses a high soccer IQ. As a central forward, she can find success using quick, technical touches or creating opportunities playing a physical game, winning aerial battles and in hold up play.  We can't wait to see her scoring goals for the Maroon and White."      Elena Bartak • 5-5 • Fr. • D • Grimes, Iowa • Dallas Center Grimes High     Bartak was a member of Sporting Iowa, with her squad capturing the 2020-21 State Cup Championship. She was selected to the 2019-2020 ODP Regional team and 2019 Boca Raton Inter-Regional Tournament team. Bartak helped lead Dallas Center Grimes to a 22-0 record en route to the Iowa 2A State Championship, with the team being nationally ranked at No. 11 at the end of her junior season. She was also named second-team all-state during her junior campaign.      Coach Nelson on Bartak:    "Elena is an extremely athletic back line player.  She is strong in 1v1 duals and is a true lock-down defender.  She reads the game well and can execute during the build in the attack.  She will be a very welcome addition to the family."      Addisyn Weiskopf • 5-4 • Fr. • D • St. Louis, Mo. • Oakville High    As a member of Oakville (Mo.) High's soccer team and St. Louis Developmental Academy, Weiskopf contributed to a Missouri State Cup championship in both 2020 and 2021. As a junior, she was named Class 4 District 1 Yellow Pool second-team all-conference and was a GA Frontier Conference champion. Additionally, in 2019, Weiskopf was a Missouri state champion.

*Addisyn will join MSU at the beginning of the Spring 2023 semester.
Coach Nelson on Weiskopf:    "Addy is a tenacious back line player.  She loves to battle and will not back down.  She also has the mindset to get forward in the attack in order to create overloads.  Her fearless mentality will be a great fit here."      Chloe Wilmes • 5-8 • Fr. • D • Greenwood, Mo. • Lee's Summit High    A member of KC Athletics Academy Elite Girls ECNL, Wilmes contributed to the club becoming 2022 Midwest Champions and being ranked eighth in June 2022 by Top Drawer Soccer. Wilmes qualified for the ECNL Champions League Playoffs the past two seasons. In her junior season, she was named the Missouri Class 4A Defensive Player of the Year as well as the Greater KC Suburban Conference Red Division Defensive Player of the Year.       Coach Nelson on Wilmes:    "Chloe is one of the most composed and technically sound backs I have seen.  She is quality in the build out and understands the game at a high level.  She will help make our back line group very solid."      Lillie Rasmussen • 5-7 • Fr. • F • Seymour, Mo. • Seymour High    Rasmussen was a member of SWMO Rush, where she was selected to the Rush national team in 2021. She was also a PL Best 11 National Showcase nominee. Rasmussen's high school did not offer soccer.       Coach Nelson on Rasmussen:    "Lillie can play anywhere across the front line.  Her presence and work rate up top puts other teams' defenses under high pressure, which creates opportunities in the attack.  She can find the back of the net regularly.  She will strengthen our forward group and we can't wait for her to join us."      Hayes Fitzgerald • 5-9 • Fr. • GK • Overland Park, Kan. • Olathe East High     Fitzgerald was a member of the Kansas Rush 04, and her club won the Kansas State Cup in back-to-back years (2019-20). In June of 2021, the club placed second in the Midwest Regionals. A three-year starter at Olathe East (Kan.) High School, Fitzgerald was named a Sunflower League honorable mention in her sophomore and junior seasons.
Coach Nelson on Fitzgerald:    "Hayes joins us as a goalkeeper.  She has good range in front of the net, both vertically and horizontally.  She is accurate in her distribution with both her hands and feet.  We are excited to have her come in and be a part of the team."
