Diana Cabrera, Alyson Piskulic, Mary Houston and Silva Avakian all represent MSU tennis this weekend, with Cabrera and Piskulic playing doubles, Houston and Avakian playing doubles, and all four players participating in singles action.
In the ITA Regionals, no flights are present in singles or doubles action, making for two large brackets totaling the tournament draw.
The tournament has the potential to last until Monday, spanning over the course of five days.
"I'm looking forward to another strong weekend of tennis to wrap up our fall season," head coach Ellie Burger said. "It's another great opportunity to play matches and solidify the game style we want to take into the spring."
Cabrera is fresh off finishing second at No. 1 singles at the Missouri Valley Conference Individual Championships held in Springfield last week. The doubles pair of Houston and Avakian placed fourth in that tournament at No. 3 doubles, with Avakian also picking up a fifth-place finish at No. 6 singles.
The ITA Regionals mark the last event for MoState of the fall. As the calendar flips to 2023, MSU will look ahead to the spring season, focusing on duals and team tennis.
