SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State softball's midweek Missouri Valley Conference game with Southern Illinois, originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 21, has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Springfield area.

The two teams will now play the series finale on April 28 at 12 p.m. at Killian Stadium.

The Bears (19-14, 10-4 MVC) turn their attention to a home series with Loyola (8-22, 4-10 MVC) this weekend, beginning with a Noon doubleheader on April 24 and closing out with the series finale at 11 a.m. on April 25.  The Saturday twin bill will be streamed on ESPN3.
