Brewer’s Bears Look for First Valley Win at UNI

SPRINGFIELD – The Missouri State women's soccer team (1-4-2, 0-1-1 MVC) will continue MVC play as it visits Northern Iowa (0-2-2, 0-2-1 MVC) for a 1 p.m. showdown on Saturday in Waterloo, Iowa.

- Dragana Andonovski, Ingrid Perkins, Kennady Orlick, and Isabel Burke, all lead the team in goals at one apiece.
- The Bears were the only team in the Missouri Valley Conference to play matches this fall.
- Due to injuries, the Bears have started three different goalies this season while all four goalies have seen action.
- Of MSU's 28 players, 16 are freshmen or sophomores, making them one of the youngest teams in The Valley.
- Three Bears garnered All-MVC Preseason honors as Kaitlyn Maxwell, Durnin and Isabel Burke landed on the first team. Durnin earned All-MVC first-team honors and tied for third on the team in goals (3) in 2019.
- Missouri State is in its 25th season of women's soccer with a 217-197-56 (.522) all-time record. Rob Brewer is the only head coach in the program's history and has guided the Bears to two NCAA Tournament appearances (2000, 2017).
