Tennis Bears fall to Creighton to end Road Trip

Omaha, Neb. – Missouri State battled former MVC rival Creighton Sunday morning but were unable to match the Blue Jays, falling 4-1 in a shortened match due to Sunday being a travel day.
 
Tiffani Nash picked up her second win of the weekend as she put the Bears on the board with a three-set win over Creighton's Alex Centra in the No. 4 spot.
  
Taylor Shaw went the distance in the No. 3 singles match but ultimately fell to Emma Gener of Creighton by a score of 6-2. 
 
The No. 2 doubles squad of Ellie Burger and Mara Presot picked up their first doubles win of 2021, defeating Creighton's Joanna Nowakowska and Alex Centra 4-3.
  
The Bears (1-2) will be back in action Friday, Feb. 12, when they host SEMO at 7 p.m.
