Box Score OMAHA, Neb. – The Missouri State women's tennis team defeated Omaha 4-3 to give head coach Hannah Keeling her first collegiate win here Saturday afternoon.
 
Ellie Burger was dominant in her second No. 2 singles win of the season, sweeping Omaha's Ines Absisan, 6-2 and 6-3.
 
Tiffani Nash picked up her first singles victory of the season at the No. 4 spot, delivering another Bears sweep with wins of 6-2 and 7-5 over Omaha's Marie Kapelevich.
 
Alyson Piskulic dispatched Colby Kelley in her No. 5 singles match, 6-0 and 7-5.
 
Claire Martin won the decisive match in No. 6 singles 6-1 and 7-6 to give MSU the 4-3 win.
 
In doubles play, the Mavericks swept the Bears to take the early 1-0 advantage.
 
MSU (1-1) will be back in action tomorrow (Feb. 7), as the Bears face Creighton. First serve is set for 9 a.m.
