St. LOUIS – Missouri State senior outside hitter
Amelia Flynn was named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week in volleyball Monday for the first time this season and fourth in her career.
Flynn averaged 4.50 kills, 3.13 digs and 4.88 points per set in Missouri State's final weekend of the season, helping the Bears to a pair of home victories.
The Lake St. Louis, Mo., native hit .308 with 17 kills, 18 digs and four blocks in Friday's victory against Indiana State, notching her 14th double-double of the season. Saturday, she tallied 19 kills, seven digs and a service ace versus Evansville in the final match of her MSU career.
