MIAMI, Fla. – Missouri State's beach volleyball team finished its second weekend of play with losses to New Orleans and 14th-ranked Florida International Saturday at the FIU Beach Bash.

MSU (3-5) sophomore Kylee Davis paired with Pamela Jaime for two wins in the No. 4 flight, moving her career total to 16 for the fifth spot on the Bears' all-time victories list.

Freshmen Parker McAllen and Siena Brewster picked up a straight-set win over New Orleans in the No. 5 contest to gain a share of the team lead with their fifth victory of the season, and MSU led the Privateers 2-0 before falling in the top three matches, including a three-set defeat in the No. 1 match.

Davis and Jaime were MSU's victorious pair against No. 14 FIU, doing so in three sets, while the Bears' No. 2 pair of Chloe Tome and Kendra Sater went the full three sets as well.

MSU heads to Fort Worth, Texas, March 6 and 7 for matches with UAB, Arizona, LSU and TCU.
