SPRINGFIELD -- Missouri State men's basketball posted its highest single-semester grade-point average on record this fall, racking up a 3.03 team GPA during the recently-completed term.
The Bears will also have four players --
Raphe Ayres,
Jake Branham,
Melvyn Ebonkoli and
Darian Scott -- on their respective Dean's Lists for the semester. Likewise, nine players who accumulated 3.0 GPA's or better for the semester will be recognized on the Missouri State Athletic Director's Honor Roll when that list is announced and finalized. Meeting AD Honor Roll requirements this fall were: Ayres, Ebonkoli, Scott, Branham,
Skylar Wicks,
Jared Ridder,
Gaige Prim,
Lu'Cye Patterson and
Dawson Carper.
Scott completed his undergraduate degree in Entertainment Management during the fall semester and represented the basketball Bears at last week's commencement ceremonies at JQH Arena.
