Osei-Bonsu Named to NABC Honors Court

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has announced the recipients of the 2025-26 NABC Honors Court, representing achievement in the classroom by men's college basketball teams and individual players. The Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Missouri State's representative on the 2025-26 honors court is senior Michael Osei-Bonsu, a Psychology major from Bolingbrook, Ill. Â
Osei-Bonsu earned third-team All-Conference USA and CUSA All-Tournament Team accolades as a senior in 2025-26 while averaging 15.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game for coach Cuonzo Martin. He posted six double-doubles and shot a league-best 59.0 percent from the field which ranked 26th nationally. He also finished ninth in CUSA in points per game and eighth in total rebounds per game (7.3). He eclipsed 20 points in 12 ball games and scored in double figures 24 times in 31 appearances (all starts).
During his two-year stint in Springfield, Osei-Bonsu finished with 826 points - the 10th-best career total for any two-year player in program history and 46th best scoring total ever by a Bear.Â
The NABC's academic awards are presented annually to teams and athletes from all levels of college basketball.
Over 2,300 players earned spots on the NABC Honors Court and over 400 programs received NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards for 2025-26.Â
