CONWAY, Ark. – The Missouri State women's tennis team finished the Central Arkansas Invitational strong on Saturday with two more doubles and singles wins.

The doubles pair of Claire Martin and Mary Houston defeated the duo from Louisiana-Tech in the third flight, 7-6. The duo of Tiffani Nash and Mara Presot defeated the pair from Oral Roberts in the fourth flight, 6-4.

Other highlights from the day include a singles win from Alyson Piskulic and Presot. Piskulic defeated her opponent from LTU 6-3 and 7-6 in the second flight. Presot won her flight by default.

"Overall we had a really successful weekend," Missouri State head coach Mallory Weber said. "There was definitely improvement from our first tournament. We are looking forward to getting back on court next weekend at the ITA Central Regional."

The Bears travel to Fayetteville, Ark. for the ITA Regional Championships Oct. 23-25 to wrap up the fall schedule.
