SPRINGFIELD – The Missouri State women's tennis team will face another trio of road matches against Alabama A&M, Murray State, and Tennessee State from March 1 – 3.
The Bears commence their stretch at Alabama A&M on Friday, March 1 starting at 10 a.m. The following day, Missouri State travels to Murray, Ky., taking on Murray State before concluding the trip on Sunday, March 3 at Tennessee State beginning at 9 a.m.

Despite strong performances last week, Missouri State dropped each of its three matches to sit at an even 4-4 ledger.
Against nationally-ranked Missouri, the Bears had a chance at the doubles point, leading the Tigers (10-1) by a 5-4 margin in the No. 2 match when MU secured the point thanks to winning by a break, 6-4, in the third flight.
Clara Gandara Gonzalez prevailed in the No. 5 flight against Central Arkansas, breaking the tie 7-6, 2-6, 10-8.
Alabama A&M and Murray State both sport an under .500 records at 1-7 and 3-4, respectively. Murray State is slated to play fellow Missouri Valley Conference member Bradley before meeting with the Bears Saturday.
Tennessee State is 4-2 on the young season, with all four victories coming against Mississippi Valley State.
