"We had a tough match against Ole Miss, a top 50 team, but it was a really good opportunity for us to compete at that level and see where we need to improve. Leni had a great match, winning the first set before it was clinched. She has been improving a lot since coming back from her wrist injury in the fall, and I am excited to see what she does in conference play this weekend."
"We are looking forward to getting back into conference play on Saturday, and then we have a tough Big 12 match on Sunday. Injuries have definitely set us back this season. We have only had our full top six in 6 of our 16 matches, but we are getting healthier and focused on finishing strong and getting our first conference win," stated head coach Austin Hale ahead of this week.
