SPRINGFIELD – The Missouri State women's tennis team is gearing up for an action-packed weekend, with three consecutive games against UMKC, Missouri, and Central Arkansas from Feb. 22 – 24.
The Bears will start their slate at UMKC on Friday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. On Saturday, Missouri State will travel to Columbia to face Missouri beginning at 5 p.m., and, rounding out the trip is Central Arkansas at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24.

Missouri State split its two games over the past weekend, narrowly defeating Omaha 4-3 and falling to in-state rival SEMO 4-0.
Fati Khamissi played a key role in the Bears' win, sealing the match in dramatic fashion, rallying to take the final two sets in a 6-7, 6-3, 6-2 decision.
Ellie Burger,
Phoebe Boeschen, and
Clara Gandara Gonzalez each contributed a singles point in the 4-3 victory.
The following day, SEMO broke the Bears four-game win streak, handing them their first loss on the young season.
UMKC is 2-5 this season, and has split results against Missouri Valley Conference opponents, beating Bradley 4-3 and falling to Illinois State 4-0.
Missouri is 8-1, with its only loss coming against Old Dominion. Rounding out the opponents is Central Arkansas, sporting a 5-4 mark.
