SPRINGFIELD – Fati Khamissi's clutch three-set victory in the third flight sealed a 4-3 win for the Missouri State women's tennis team (4-0) over Omaha (3-6) Saturday afternoon at Cooper Tennis Complex.  
 
Khamissi sealed the match in dramatic fashion, rallying to win the final two sets in a 6-7, 6-3, 6-2 decision to help the Bears remain perfect this season.
 
The 4-3 final is the Bears third on the season. After dropping the doubles point, Missouri State battled back to tally four singles points to earn the win.
 
Ellie Burger and Phoebe Boeschen helped the Bears regain the lead with 6-1, 6-0 and 6-3, 6-4 decisions, respectively.
 
Omaha would take the following two points to shift the lead back in its favor.
 
Clara Gandara Gonzalez would hold onto the 6-3, 7-6 edge to down her opponent in the fifth flight to even the match at three apiece.
 
The win for Khamissi signaled her first deciding singles contest of the season.
 
In doubles, Alye Darter and Mara Presot were the lone Bears' victors with a 6-2 rout.
 
Missouri State will resume action tomorrow at Cooper Tennis Complex, facing SEMO at 1 p.m.
