SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State women's soccer head coach
Rob Brewer announced the addition of nine signees Friday in the opening days of the 2019-20 NLI signing period.
"Our 2020 recruiting class continues our track record of maintaining high standards academically and athletically," said associate head coach
Kirk Nelson. "This class is also extremely balanced - we have forwards, midfielders, backs, and goalkeepers committing to be a part of our Missouri State Bears Family. The recruiting process has been an amazing journey connecting with all of these Student-Athletes. We are very excited for all of them to bring high level skill sets to our program."

Camielle Day, Dardenne Prairie, Mo., GK
Day has been a part of one conference championship and two district champion titles through three seasons at Fort Zumwalt West High, where she helped the Jaguars to a 48-26-1 record as a goalkeeper. She set single season (18) and career records (41) in goalkeeper wins during her junior campaign, earning second-team and academic all-conference honors. As a sophomore, the Dardenne Prairie product picked up first-team and academic all-conference, as well as all-region honors. Day combined for 23 shutouts over her career.
"Day is an athletic goalkeeper who already holds Fort Zumwalt West HS records for goalkeeper career wins as well as several other school records," said head coach
Rob Brewer. "She has been a First Team All-Conference selection and helped her Lou Fusz club team to a State Cup Championship and will be a valuable addition to our team!"

Dulce Lopez. Hastings, Neb., M
Lopez has been a part of three district champion titles and two conference runner-up runs through three seasons at Hastings Senior High School, where she helped the Tigers to a 38-14-0 record as a midfielder. Scored five goals and dished out nine assists in junior season, earning honorable mention laurels. The Hastings, Neb. product made an immediate impact for the Tigers as a rookie, combining for 37 points with a career-high 16 goals and five assists. Her efforts earned her numerous accolades including second-team super state and class-B all-state recognition. Followed it up with another excellent season, picking up a GNAC all-conference nod as a sophomore with 11 goals and nine assists. Lopez tabbed team captain in all three seasons.
"Lopez is a crafty center midfielder and wide forward who can control the tempo of the game," said Brewer. "She has been a key goal scorer for Hastings High School and EGA, proving she is a good 1v1 artist who loves to take opponents on."

Ingrid Perkins, Wellsville, Kan., F
Perkins has been a part of team victories at the Border Battle, Denver Cup, and Harvest Cup while also finishing in the top-three at the State Cup in club competition, where she contributed to a 25-2-2 record. She has been an offensive force over her career, leading her team in goals each of her four seasons. The Wellsville, Kan. product earned two player of the week distinctions.
"Perkins is a skillful goal scorer that will challenge for playing time as a freshman," said Brewer. "She is great at attacking in 1v1 situations and has been a consistent scorer for her club teams."

Katherine Montgomery, Geneva, Ill., GK
Montgomery racked up three champion titles as a part of the Campton United SC club team, where she produced dominant efforts as a goalkeeper. Picked up multiple accolades as a junior, earning Naperville Invitational All-Tournament first team, U19 Girls Midwest National League Best XI, academic all-conference, and all-conference. The Geneva, Ill. product hauled in over 100 saves in junior season at Geneva Community High, where she also played basketball. Made a quick impact as a freshman, helping the Vikings to a conference championship. Montgomery named team captain of club team in sophomore and junior campaigns.
"Montgomery is a vocal leader on the field," said Brewer. "She has collected numerous honors including U19 US Youth Soccer Regional Champs and National Championships Bronze Medalist, and will no doubt continue to excel here at Missouri State."

Abby Couch, Kearney, Mo., M
Couch has been a part of three conference and district championships through three seasons at Kearney High, where she helped the Bulldogs post a 64-9-0 record including three-straight undefeated conference runs as a midfielder. Named to the all-region and first-team all-conference lists as a sophomore and junior. As a freshman, the Bulldogs advanced to third place in State Class 3 and garnered second-team all-state laurels.
"Couch is a well-rounded midfielder/back who can play anywhere on the back line or midfield," said Brewer. "Her versatility makes her a strong addition to our signing class."

Dragana Andonovski, Kansas City, Mo., M
Andonovski has been a part of a state championship and earned numerous honors during her three seasons at Park Hill High, where she competed as a midfielder. The Trojans took home the state championship in her sophomore season and Andonovski collected all-state, all-region, all-district, and all-conference laurels. Named to all-conference and all-district first-team as a junior. Also competed in basketball and track.
"Andonovski is an athletic and skillful central midfielder/center back," said Brewer. Â "She played a crucial role in helping lead Park Hill High to a state championship and is an exciting addition to our incoming freshman class."

Carly Raunig, Olathe, Kan., D
Raunig has been a part of a conference and district championship during her rookie season at Saint Thomas Aquinas High, while also competing at the Developmental Academy for the past three seasons as an outside back. In her junior campaign, Developmental Academy climbed to a top-10 national ranking.
"Raunig is an athletic and pacey outside back who has a very high workrate," said Brewer. "She has the ability to impact the game as a flank player on both ends of the field."

Alyssa Buchheit, St. Charles, Mo., M
Buchheit took home a Class 3 Missouri State Championship and finished at the top of the Archdiocesan Athletic Association (AAA) conference for two consecutive seasons, where she played as a center midfielder. The St. Charles, Mo. product was a key starter for the Crusaders, starting every contest and being named an AAA second-team all-conference selection as a sophomore. Also a four-year starter for the AFA Fillies, Buchheit led them to the Missouri State Cup semifinals for two-straight seasons and was selected as team captain in rookie and senior campaigns.
"Buchheit is a center midfielder who maintains possession and solves pressure well," said Brewer. "She has great field vision and is an excellent passer of the ball who can create goal scoring opportunities for her teammates."

Riley Sherron, Leawood, Kan., D
Sherron is a four-year member of the US Soccer DA club team, helping them to the regional ECNL playoffs and achieving a U18/19 No. 6 ranking. She made an immediate impact as a rookie, scoring two goals and three assists on their way to a postseason playoff berth. Sherron became a regular starter as a sophomore, adding on another two goals and three assists while being tabbed captain. Continued her strong showing as a junior, recording three goals and three assists in 21 games.
"Sherron is a hardnosed center mid/outside back who has the ability to play in a variety of roles," said Brewer. "She displays strong leadership traits and has competed in US Soccer Developmental Academy and ECNL."
