NORMAN, Okla. – Doubles pair
Alye Darter and
Ellie Burger defeated Power Five opponent Arkansas to highlight the Missouri State women's tennis team's second day at the ITA Central Regionals on Friday.

Continuing their fall winning ways, Darter and Burger earned the 8-5 decision over Arkansas in the doubles bracket to move onto Saturday's second round, where they will square off against Tulsa. The pair have prevailed in four straight matchups, most recently taking the flight A doubles title at the Eastern Illinois Invitational.

Darter split Friday's singles matches, defeating Central Arkansas' Vasupongchai in a 4-6, 6-0, 6-4 comeback bid before falling to top-seeded Oklahoma 6-2, 6-2.
