Round Two Results
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Led by sophomore
Abby Cavaiani, Missouri State women's golf is in a steady 10th place after 36 holes at The Club at Old Hawthorne, a par-72 course at the Johnie Imes Invitational in Columbia, Mo.
Individually, Cavaiani sits in tie for seventh after posting 72-73 (+1).
Sophomore
Brooke Newell is tied for 34th with 74-79, while sophomores
Faith Belmear (84-74) and
Allison Bray (85-73) are tied for 55th. Freshman
Johanna Wollenhaupt sits one stroke behind them both, finishing the day with 79-80 and tied for 59th.
Junior
Bridget Schulte, competing individually, joins Wollenhaupt in 59th with 78-81.
Host Missouri (579) remains in the lead of team competition, ahead of second place Oral Roberts (586) by seven strokes. Fresno State is in the third spot with 592, and FIU and NIU share fourth with 598 apiece.
The Bears will conclude the tournament with a final 18 holes on Wednesday (Oct. 2).
