SPRINGFIELD -- Missouri State's weekend volleyball schedule now includes only the Maroon & White Scrimmage, moved to a 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, first serve at Hammons Student Center.

MSU found out Wednesday that the NCAA denied an exemption to play the originally scheduled Alumni Match, meaning the Bears' regular season schedule plus Wednesday's exhibition win against Omaha put them at the maximum number of allowable play dates this fall.

The Bears travel to College of Charleston's tournament Aug. 24-25 to open the regular season, and host the Dr. Mary Jo Wynn Invitational Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 at Hammons.
