SPRINGFIELD– The Missouri State women's tennis team will now take on Central Arkansas on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 9 a.m., indoors at Burns Park in North Little Rock, Ark. The Bears' match against Alcorn State has been canceled.

Missouri State (3-2) faced UCA in two fall tournaments during the fall 2017 schedule. At the UCA Fall Invitational, MSU went 1-2 in singles action and 0-1 in doubles. Sophomore Alye Darter collected a 6-2, 6-4 win over Quili Ma in a back-draw singles match.

At the UCA Fall Classic, the Bears saw Darter and freshman Ellie Burger hit their stride as a pair and collect two doubles victories over UCA pairs to go 3-0 for the weekend tournament. The MSU doubles pair is now 9-4 on the year and on a current three-match winning streak at No. 1 doubles this spring.

Heading into this weekend, junior Fati Khamissi is on a two-match winning streak at No. 4 singles, sitting at 4-1 during the spring season.

UCA (4-2) is on a three-match winning streak, picking up recent victories over Arkansas State, Austin Peay State and Oral Roberts.
