SPRINGFIELD– The Missouri State women's tennis team heads out on their first road trip of the 2018 season, taking on Omaha on Friday, Feb. 2, at 3 p.m., at Miracle Hill Tennis Center.
While in Nebraska, MSU will also face Creighton on Saturday, Feb. 3, with first serve at 1 p.m., at Hanscom Tennis Courts.
Missouri State (1-0) is fresh off of picking up a commanding 7-0 victory over SIUE on Jan. 28 at Cooper Tennis Courts. No. 1 doubles pair, sophomore

Ellie Burger, moved to 7-4 as a pair on the year with a 6-1 win to secure the doubles point.
The Bears did not ease up on SIUE in singles action, picking up 6-0, 6-0, victories at four, five and six singles. MSU had a bit more pressure put on them by SIUE in the other three singles matches, but the Bears were able to stop the Cougars advances to collect the season opening victory.
Omaha (2-2) fell 4-3 to Creighton on Jan. 27, but has collected victories over Milwaukee (6-1) and William Jewell, 9-0. Their second loss came at the hands of UMKC Jan. 21.
Creighton (1-2) picked up a victory over Omaha 4-3, but lost both of their season opening weekend matches to Drake, 5-2, and Iowa, 6-1. The Bluejays will host North Dakota at home on Friday before hosting the Bears.
