The Missouri State women's golf team wrapped up plat at The Johnie Imes in Columbia, Mo., marking the midway point of the Fall season. The Bears shot 291-306-307--904, slipping to eighth in the team leaderboard.

Rachel Johnson and freshman
Allison Bray lead the way for the Bears earning 13th and 14th respectively. Johnson shot two-over par in round three for 70-75-75–219. Bray fired off an eagle on the  par 5 ninth hole, shooting 74-72-74--220.

Abby Cavaiani struggled through the last two rounds but tied for 38th out of the 73 golfers that completed all three rounds, carding 71-78-78--227.
Faith Belmear finished 64th with 76-81-81--238.

In the team results, host Missouri took a 22 stroke lead with 853 over Fresno State (875). Florida Gulf Coast (876) was third, followed by Florida International (885), Mercer (889), Wichita State (892), NIU (896), with the Bears (904) in eight. Illinois State (909) was ninth with Arkansas State and Bradley tying for 10th with 911.

The Bears are back in action in a week in a half from October 15-16 for the MVC Fall Preview in Chesterton, Ind.
