SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State men's basketball head coach Dana Ford will be hosting monthly luncheons at Big Whiskey's (1550 Battlefield Rd, Springfield) throughout the upcoming season, starting Monday, October 8.
 
The luncheons are from Noon to 1 p.m., and are open to the public.
 
Ford will also host luncheons at Big Whiskey's on:

• Monday, Nov. 12
• Monday, Dec. 10
• Monday, Jan. 14
• Monday, Feb. 11

 
Big Whiskeys will have the following lunch specials available for just $9.99 during the luncheons, including a choice of tea, lemonade, water or soft drink:

• All-American burger and chips
• Buffalo chicken wrapper with chips
• Pulled pork sandwich with chips
• Open face roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes
• Southwest chicken salad (full size)

 
Ford was named Missouri State's 18th men's basketball head coach on March 22, 2018. He and his Bears will open the 2018-19 campaign at home on Tuesday, Nov. 6 against Oral Roberts.
