Williams Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

SPRINGFIELD -- Missouri State guard Kobi Williams (Jr., St. Louis, Mo.) has been selected to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball team, selected by College Sports Communicators. The team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. 

Williams is working on a BS in Financial Planning and has a 3.62 grade point average. He was named to the Missouri State University Athletic Director's Honor Roll and Missouri State University Dean's List for the Fall 2025 semester. He averaged 14.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game in his first season with the Bears while leading the team in minutes played (1171), three-point field goals (87) and free throw percentage (.842).

Williams finished fourth in CUSA in minutes per game (35:30), three-point percentage (.372) and three-pointers per game (2.64), while ranking fifth in the league in free throw percentage, 10th in free throws (117) and 12th in scoring average (14.4).

The The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. The CSC Academic All-District® team honorees are eligible for consideration for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
