SPRINGFIELD – The Missouri State women's tennis team saw seven different players advance to placement brackets as the MSU Fall Invitational wrapped up at Cooper Tennis Complex Sunday.

Phoebe Boeschen advanced to the No. 4 flight finals, but fell to her SEMO opponent to take the runner-up standing.

Junior
Alye Darter moved through the fifth-place bracket, beating Central Arkansas 6-3, 3-6, 10-5 in a three-set thriller. Darter would settle for sixth after dropping another three-set tilt 6-3, 3-6, 10-5.

Alexia Meyer was the remaining winner of the day, taking a 6-2, 6-3 decision over teammate
Mara Presot.
