SPRINGFIELD – After securing two individual titles at the Missouri Valley Conference Individual Championships, four Missouri State players will travel to Iowa City, Iowa for the ITA Central Regional Championship presented by Oracle taking place Oct. 12-16.
 
Alye Darter will compete in the singles and doubles main draws, alongside teammate Fati Khamissi.
 
Khamissi, Mara Presot, and Clara Gandara Gonzalez are set to play in the qualifying singles bracket on Friday starting at 9 a.m. If any of them wins two rounds, they will move on to the main draw singles bracket. Khamissi and Gandara Gonzalez were the individual winners for the Bears at the MVC Individual Championships over the past weekend, marking Missouri State's first individual laurels since 2005.
 
The ITA Central Regional Championship will consist of 26 teams competing over five days.
