Soccer Bears Lifted by Late Goal

Springfield, Mo. – Junior Conor Ingram lifted the Missouri State men's soccer team with a late goal to claim the victory over Oral Roberts, 1-0. MSU improves to 3-2-1 on the year after their second win at home.

The two squads were deadlocked for 88 minutes of the contest before the break though by Ingram. The Bears got off eight shots with three of them aimed at goal. Five MSU players got off shots during the match led by sophomore Stuart Wilkin's three.

With less than two minutes left in regulation, Ingram found the inside of the goal. The massive game winner came from five yards out to clinch the win. The Oxford, England native leads the Bears with three goals this season off of 12 shot attempts.

ORU (2-2-1) had five shots at goal during the 90 minute contest with nine total attempts. Senior goalkeeper Liam Priestley closed out his third shutout of the season with five saves.
