  • Third-year MSU quarterbacks coach/co-offensive coordinator Mack Brown has an entirely new cast to instruct this fall at the QB position.
  • Transfer Peyton Huslig, from Garden City (Kan.) Community College, completed 19-of-33 passes for 345 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' spring game; the sophomore helped lead Garden City to the 2016 NJCAA national title.
  • Freshmen Dalton Hill and Dominic Williams and junior transfer Anthony Monken comprise the rest of the Bears' four-man quarterback rotation. 
  • Hill, from Lee's Summit (Mo.) High passed for 2,320 yards and 23 touchdowns as a prep senior with more than 3,000 yards of total offense; he was also a Missouri Class 6 all-state selection in 2016.
  • Monken was a highly-touted QB at Fresno City (Calif.) College where he completed 62-of-124 passes for 763 yards and seven touchdowns in 2016.
  • Williams broke Richmond (Mo.) High single-season marks for passing TDs (30), passing yards (2,034), completion percentage (.640) and yards per completion (21.0) as a senior last fall.
