Hesse to Present Sessions at Camp Elevate

ALLENDALE, Mich. -- Missouri State softball head coach Holly Hesse will be the featured speaker for two workshops at the annual Camp Elevate here later this week, presented by True North Sports.

On Friday morning (June 2), Hesse will present a session entitled "The Coach's Roadmap – Building Your Program Brick by Brick."  Then on Sunday (June 4), the well-honored MSU head coach will present a session entitled "Mental Training and Mindfulness for Teams."

"Camp Elevate is about helping coaches of both genders learn, grow and connect," said Hesse. "I am honored to be speaking and sharing with coaches across many sports my experiences and ideas on how to build a program brick by brick and also on Mental Toughness and Mindfulness for Athletes. I will also have the opportunity to learn, grow and connect with some of the best coaches in the country."

Camp Elevate provides innovative educational programs for coaches and athletes that build the people and leadership skills necessary to experience success and significance in their role within the team experience.

According to its website, True North Sports is dedicated to working with coaches of all sports to find their unique True North, to have a fine-tuned inner compass and to coach from that place inside themselves.

Hesse recently completed her 29th season as head coach at Missouri State and holds a 749-748-2 career mark. She has accumulated a league-record 50 career victories in the MVC Tournament and is the second-winningest coach in Missouri Valley Conference history. Her tenure includes two regular-season MVC titles, five MVC tournament crowns and five NCAA Tournament appearances. She began the 2017 campaign ranked 36th among all active NCAA Division I coaches.
