Childers Leads the Bears at ORU/ SFA Spring Break Invite

Bears Struggle in Round Two

Led by sophomore Ashley Childers, the Missouri State women's golf team sits in 10th after day two at the ORU/ SFA Spring Break Invite at the 6180 yd. Trophy Club Country Club. Childers shot 78 in round two for a total of 153, just seven behind individual leader Sophie Levin of Eastern Kentucky. Pacing round two for the Bears, senior Lindsey Eisenreich improved in round two with scores of 82-76—158 to move into 43rd.
 
As a team, the Bears fell from 9th to 10th with 628 points, just five behind current ninth place holders, Alabama State (623). Eastern Kentucky still leads the field with 599 points, Oral Roberts also maintained second place and Montana moved up to tie with them at 608.
 
The final round of play begins at 8:30 a.m. CT on Wednesday (Mar. 15).
