LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Missouri State women's tennis team continued strong play in the consolation singles bracket on Friday at the ITA Central Regional Championship presented by Oracle at the Jayhawk Tennis Center and Sports Pavilion Lawrence.

Sophomore Alye Darter forced a third set, but fell to Iowa's Danielle Bauers 6-0, 5-7, 10-12.

Anelisse Torrico Moreno dropped a 6-0, 6-3 decision to in-state rival Saint Louis' Ally McKenzie.

Both Darter and Torrico Moreno will be back on the court in singles action on Saturday.
