Missouri State's Rachel Johnson is one of three players to share Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golfer of the Week honors as announced by the conference Wednesday (Oct. 18). Johnson led the Bears to a third-place finish at the MVC Preview Monday and Tuesday in Newton, Kan., shooting 77-70-77--224 to finish in a three-way tie for second place with Kylie Walsh of Illinois State and Sophie Bennetti of Indiana State. 

It's the first conference honor for the Anderson, Ind., native who's currently the fifth-ranked player in the league with a 75.67 scoring average. As a team, MSU posted 312-303-306--921 to place second of the 10 Valley squads in attendance, finishing behind only former member Wichita State and Northern Iowa.
