SPRINGFIELD – The Missouri State men's basketball team opens a two-game MVC home stand on Saturday afternoon against rival Southern Illinois, and lower-level bleacher seats are now available for just $5 for the Bears' games against SIU on Jan. 7 and the Evansville game on Jan. 11.
 
The special is available for purchases at the Old Missouri Bank Box Office at JQH Arena, or by phone at (417) 836-7678, during regular box office hours – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and game days.
 
Additional ticket specials are also available for the upcoming stretch, including the new Price Cutter Customer Appreciation Zone that provides up to four free tickets for Price Cutter customers who spend at least $50 at participating store locations. Simply by taking their grocery receipt to the Old Missouri Bank Box Office at JQH Arena within a two-day time frame, customers can claim their free tickets accordingly.
 
Additional specials include a game-day $15 lower-level ticket for Sections E, I, O and P; and the Family Four Pack which provides four tickets in Section JJ, plus a $25 concessions voucher.
 
All specials are based on availability and are valid for both upcoming Bears' games.
 
Saturday's game against Southern Illinois tips at 3 p.m. for a national telecast on CBS Sports Network. It is also men's basketball alumni day at JQH Arena.
