Missouri State wraps up the first time through the Missouri Valley Conference schedule with a pair of road games this week, visiting Loyola (2-16, 1-6) at 7 p.m. Friday and Indiana State (10-8, 4-3) at 1 p.m. Sunday.
   Both games will air live on KOZL in the Springfield market and statewide on the MSU TV Network.
    The Lady Bears (8-10, 4-3) saw their four-game winning streak snapped on Sunday against Bradley, but remain tied for third in the league standings with Indiana State.
   MSU looks to continue a two-year trend of solid road performances this week, as the Lady Bears are 18-7 in their last 25 away games, dating to Feb. 20, 2015. Missouri State is also 13-2 in its last 15 MVC road contests, and 13-2 in its last 15 games in the state of Illinois.
Series Histories
Missouri State is 5-3 all-time against Loyola with a 2-3 mark in Chicago. MSU's two road wins in the series have come in the past two seasons, 87-57 in 2015 and 73-62 in 2016.
    Missouri State holds a 55-18 series lead over the Sycamores, including a 22-12 mark in Terre Haute. MSU has won 15 of the last 19 meetings overall.
Scouting Loyola
Loyola is 2-16 overall and 1-6 in MVC play while rebuilding under first-year head coach Kate Achter. Katie Salmon leads the Ramblers in scoring (9.1) and rebounding (6.4), and six LUC players average at least 6.0 points per game. As a team, Loyola scores 49.4 points per contest and allows 73.2 while shooting 34.8 percent overall, 31.2 percent from long range and 65 percent at the foul line.
Scouting Indiana State
Indiana State is 10-8 overall and tied for third in the MVC standings with MSU at 4-3. Ashley Taia paces the Sycamores at 13.6 points per game with 37 3-pointers, and newcomer Wendi Bibbins chips in 9.9 points and 7.9 boards. ISU averages 57.9 points per game and ranks second the MVC with a 58.7 defensive average, shooting 37.6 percent overall, 29 percent on 3-pointers and 64.8 percent from the charity stripe.
