MSU tight ends combined for seven catches and 35 receiving yards last season.
Junior Erik Furmanek is the most experienced returner for tight ends coach Justin Kramer after making five starts last fall in his first season at the position.
Furmanek logged five catches -- four of which came at Arkansas State -- for a total of 24 yards in 2015.
Junior Adam St. Peter is the only other Bear tight end who has at least one career reception.
Redshirt freshman Chandler Collins will have the chance to earn playing time, as will sophomore Scotty Schaffner, who spent two years at Iowa State before joining the Bears.
