SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Missouri State single-game football tickets for the 2016 season went on sale Monday (Aug. 8), while season ticket opportunities for the upcoming campaign remain available, according to Duane Miller, director of MSU athletics ticket sales and service.
The Bears return 39 lettermen and 15 starters under second-year head coach Dave Steckel. MSU opened preseason camp Tuesday in preparation for the team's Sept. 1 season opener vs. Southwestern College at Robert W. Plaster Stadium.
Single-game tickets, which start at just $10 for an adult bleacher seat, will be available online atMissouriStateBears.com/Tickets, by calling (417) 836-7678, or visiting the JQH Arena ticket office during normal box office hours, beginning at 10 a.m. on Aug. 8.
MSU opens the 2016 campaign with an evening battle against Southwestern (Kan.) College on Thursday, Sept. 1 at 6 p.m., before three home outings in October against defending national champion North Dakota State (Oct. 8), a Homecoming showdown against Western Illinois (Oct. 15) and Family Weekend challenge from rival Southern Illinois (Oct. 29). MSU concludes its home slate on Nov. 19 against Youngstown State in the regular-season finale.
Additionally, MSU will offer a limited number of single-game tickets to its Sept. 24 road game vs. Kansas State in Manhattan, Kan.
Season tickets packages for the Bears' 2016 five-game home schedule start at $50 for reserved bleachers with reserved bleacher-back seat packages for $80 and upper-level chair-back seats for $100. Seat assessment fees apply for chair-back seat sections DD, EE, FF, GG, HH, and JJ.
Discounted season packages are available for Missouri State faculty and staff, and families, beginning at just $25. Family Four Packs are available again this season for just $120 and include four bleacher tickets (must include at least one family member under the age of 17) for all five home games.
