PULA, Croatia -- The United States Collegiate National Team and Missouri State volleyball junior Lily Johnson captured the Global Challenge Thursday evening to cap a successful European Tour.

Johnson played a pivotal role in the team's success, seeing significant floor time in knockout-round victories against England (3-0) and Slovenia (3-2) before helping the U.S. capture the title Thursday in 3-1 fashion over China.

In pool play, the All-American outside hitter excelled as well, including matches with 10 kills on a .600 hitting percentage against England, and an error-free eight-kill performance against the Chinese.
