Missouri State (14-7, 5-2 Missouri Valley Conference) takes its five-match winning streak on the road this week to close out the first trip through the league schedule against Illinois State (12-7, 5-2) at 7 p.m. Friday and Indiana State (8-10, 2-4) at 6 p.m. Saturday.
   The Bears have swept the last three matches during their streak, hitting a combined .334 over that span while not allowing the opposition to reach 20 points in any of their last 10 sets.

Illinois State is 12-7 overall and 5-2 in league matches, including a victory at UNI. Aly Dawson and Jaelyn Keene each average at least 3.20 kills per set for the Redbirds, while Keene owns a league-best .461 attack efficiency. ISU hits .246 as a team compared to .191 for the opposition and averages 13.59 kills, 1.25 aces, 16.13 digs and 1.71 blocks per set.
   Indiana State is 8-10 overall and 2-4 in MVC play. The Sycamores are led by Kynedi Nalls at 3.44 kills per set, and hit .218 as a team while allowing opponents a .208 efficiency. The Sycamores average 12.08 kills, 1.25 aces, 14.81 digs and 1.86 blocks per set.

Missouri State has squared off with Illinois State more than any other school, and holds a 48-47 series lead in 95 all-time meetings. The Bears are 24-13 against ISU since 2001.
   MSU leads the all-time series with Indiana State by a 59-1 margin, with the Bears' lone loss occurring in five sets in 1994. Since then, the Bears have reeled off 45 straight wins against the Sycamores.
