2015 STATS FCS Preseason All-America Teams

PHILADELPHIA -- For the second straight year, Missouri State football standout Robert Booker has been named to the STATS FCS Preseason All-America team, the organization announced Thursday (July 9).

Booker, a second-team choice, was one of 100 players named to STATS FCS All-America squads, which included players from 63 schools and all 13 FCS conferences, led by the Missouri Valley Football Conference's 17 honorees. The Big Sky had 15 selections, including the most on the first team with six, and CAA Football had the third-highest total with 14 selections.

Booker made all 12 starts at center in 2014, carrying out 83 percent of his assignments and grading out at 86 percent overall with 67 knockdown blocks. The Ozark, Mo., product was a second-team All-MVFC selection last fall after being tabbed MSU's Offensive Lineman of the Week for his performance vs. North Dakota (Sept. 13).

An AP All-America and first-team All-MVFC selection as a sophomore in 2013, Booker has started each of the Bears' 24 contests over the last two seasons and served as a team co-captain as a junior.

The Bears return 41 lettermen and 12 starters under first-year head coach Dave Steckel and his staff. MSU players will report to campus on Aug. 2 for fall camp in preparation for the team's Sept. 5 season opener at the University of Memphis.

Bears' 2015 season tickets are available now by calling (417) 836-8899 or visiting MissouriStateBears.com/tickets for more information.
