At No. 1 doubles, The Bears' duo of Miranda Poile and Ema Turudija kept the match close between the Roadrunners' tandem of Junger/Rosell Canudas, but the UTSA pairing were able to complete a 6-4 victory.
MSU's Ekaterina Donetskova and Anelisse Torrico Moreno had their third straight match at No. 2 doubles end unfinished, with them leading 5-4 against the Roadrunners' Nicole Karaklis and Alena Shichkova. It was the second of their past three outings they were leading when the match concluded.
