SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Overnight rain combined with an already soggy field deteriorated the surface to an unplayable condition resulting in the postponement of Tuesday's home softball game versus Central Arkansas. MSU and UCA have rescheduled the matchup for Monday, April 6 with a 4:00 p.m. first pitch at Killian Stadium.

The Bears (9-10) will now open the home slate tomorrow (March 11) with a doubleheader at Killian against UMKC (10-8) beginning at 2:00 p.m. MSU will continue the now seven-game home stand on Thursday with a 5:00 p.m. game versus Arkansas. The Bears open MVC play on Saturday with a three-game set against Drake. The home stand conclude next Wednesday (March 18) with a 5:00 p.m. tilt with Missouri.
