Missouri State (16-9, 7-5 MVC) enters the home stretch of the regular season this week, playing four of its final six Missouri Valley Conference matches at home. The Bears take on UNI (15-11, 9-4) at 7 p.m. Friday and Drake (14-16, 5-8) at 7 p.m. Saturday at Hammons Student Center.
The Opponents
UNI is 15-11 overall and 9-4 in league matches. The Panthers are led by preseason all-MVC selection Kayla Haneline, who averages 3.20 kills and 1.08 blocks per set with a .287 hitting percentage. As a team, UNI hits .189 and allows opponents to hit .193 while averaging 13.33 kills, 17.68 digs, 2.03 blocks and 1.07 aces per set.
Drake is 14-16 overall and 5-8 in MVC play entering its Friday match at Wichita State. Three Bulldogs average at least 2.71 kills per set for a balanced offensive attack that hits .167 on the season. Drake surrenders a .206 attack efficiency and averages 11.65 kills, 16.02 digs, 1.71 blocks and 1.35 aces per set.

The all-time series with UNI is 49-20 in favor of the Panthers. UNI has won 12 of the last 13 meetings.
MSU is 56-9 against Drake and has won 32 of the last 33 meetings, the exception being a loss in Springfield in 2010.
First Meetings This Season
MSU lost to UNI in five sets on Oct. 10 in Cedar Falls. The Bears fell behind early in all five sets and lost the fifth, 15-7.
The Bears swept Drake on Oct. 9 in Des Moines, hitting .333 as a team as Lily Johnson slammed 22 kills.
