PEORIA, Ill. -- The Missouri State volleyball team (19-9, 10-5 Missouri Valley Conference) ran its winning streak to four matches Friday evening with a 25-18, 25-17, 25-16 sweep of the Bradley Braves (6-21, 1-14) at Renaissance Coliseum.

Lily Johnson smashed 23 kills on the night with a .475 attack efficiency, the most kills in a three-set match for MSU since 2007. The sophomore moved from 13th to eighth on MSU's single-season kill list with her 20th career 20-kill match, and added 12 digs for her 19th double-double of the season.

Missouri State set the tone with three straight points to open each of the first two sets and never trailed in the match. Freshman Ashley Ophoven had five kills in the first set, three of which ended Bradley runs to give service back to the Bears, and MSU used a 7-1 run in the second period to open up a 21-14 advantage, with Ophoven and Lynsey Wright contributing two kills apiece during the run.

Johnson had four consecutive kills late in the third set to push MSU's lead to 21-15, and her 23rd kill ended the match.

Senior Kinsey Batten dished out 42 assists while directing the Bears to a .381 hitting percentage. MSU owned a 50-27 lead in kills and 43-29 margin in total digs.

The Bears visit Loyola (19-9, 8-7) at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Ramblers lost 3-2 to Wichita State on Friday.
