CHICAGO - The Missouri State Lady Bears posted their largest margin of victory on the road in 10 years Friday evening with an 87-57 win over Loyola University Chicago at Gentile Arena.

The Lady Bears (5-10, 2-2 Missouri Valley Conference) set season highs for points, assists (18), field goals (32) and 3-pointers (10) in their biggest road win since a 96-55 victory at Wichita State on Jan. 30, 2005.

Kenzie Williams netted 24 points on 9-for-13 shooting overall and 5-for-7 from beyond the arc, while Rachel Swartz scored a career-high 10 points - all in the second half - as MSU shot 42.7 percent overall and 10-for-22 on 3-pointers. Tyonna Snow (11) and Hillary Chvatal (10) also scored in double figures and 12 Lady Bears in total entered the scoring column.

Missouri State did not trail for the final 32 minutes of the game and led for 38 minutes, 20 seconds in all as Loyola dropped to 2-14 and 0-5 in MVC play.

A pair of 8-0 runs in the first half helped the Lady Bears to a 20-12 lead on Chvatal's putback, and Riley Israel hit a 3-pointer from the corner a minute later for a 23-15 advantage at the 7:50 mark. Williams buried a triple from the wing with 2:41 on the clock for MSU's largest lead yet at 33-21, and hit again for 38-28 with 52 seconds left as the Lady Bears carried a 38-30 lead into halftime.

The Lady Bears blitzed the Ramblers with an 11-1 run to start the second half as NiJay Gaines and Williams hit back-to-back 3-pointers, Williams converted a traditional 3-point play off a Snow assist, and Snow turned a steal into a layup for the 49-31 lead at the 16:51 mark.

Lee Ann Polowy's 3-pointer from the right corner put the Lady Bears up 59-40 with 11:56 to play, and her assist of Aubrey Buckley's layup made it a 61-40 game less than a minute later.

Williams continued her second-half offensive surge with her fourth triple of the game followed by a steal and layup for a 70-48 lead with 6:17 remaining, and knocked down a fifth trey shortly thereafter to push MSU's lead to 75-52 with 4:26 left. Missouri State's lead grew to as many as 32 points before the final horn.

The MSU defense forced 19 LUC turnovers, converting those into 25 points, and held the Ramblers to 18-for-55 shooting (.327) for the contest. The Lady Bears held a 50-37 edge on the glass to win the rebounding battle for the eighth consecutive game.

Chvatal led MSU with nine boards, and Lexi Hughes dished out a career-high six assists without a turnover.
