Honors: Athletic Director’s Honor Roll (Fall 2016)...Lady Bears Team MVP (2018)...Lady Bears Defensive Player of the Year (2017, 2018).

Senior/Career Summary: Started every game as a senior, averaging 10.4 points and a team-high 6.2 rebounds...Added 44 steals and 28 assists, and led the MVC in free throw makes (116) and attempts (171)...Drew 28 charges on the season as MSU’s defensive player of the year...Only MVC player to rank in the top 12 in scoring, rebounds and steals in league games...Had 22 points and 16 rebounds at Drake (Feb. 4) for the first 20/15 game at MSU since December 2012...Scored in double figures 21 times as a senior and 38 times in her career...Had four double-doubles as a senior and six in her career...Started 104 of 108 career games...Finished career ranked 11th in MSU history in free throw attempts (416), 14th in free throw makes (285), 25th in rebounds (502) and 36th in scoring (838).

2016-17: Had her best season to date, starting 30 of MSU’s 31 games and averaging 9.2 points and a team-high 5.2 rebounds per game while shooting 46 percent from the field...Scored in double figures 15 times with a high of 19 against Bradley (Jan. 22)...Added a career-high 14 rebounds that game for the double-double, and also had a double-double with 15 points and 10 boards against Wichita State (Jan. 6)...Became the first Lady Bear since 2005 to make six field goals without a miss in a 6-for-6 performance at Loyola (Jan. 27), part of a three-game stretch during which she made nine consecutive shots from the field...Shot 50 percent or better in 17 games, including 7-for-10 versus Middle Tennessee (Dec. 19), 6-for-7 against Wichita State (Jan. 6), and 7-for-11 at Iowa (March 19)...Shot 70 percent from the foul line on a team-high 112 attempts, 32 percent from beyond the arc, and added 20 assists and 31 steals on the year.

2015-16: Started 11 games during the non-conference schedule before a hip injury sidelined her for the remainder of the season...Averaged 5.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in just under 25 minutes per game while shooting 70 percent from the foul line...Tallied a career-high 12 points in her final game of the year, an MSU win at Little Rock (Dec. 20)...Scored 10 points on 3-of-5 shooting and grabbed four boards against Oklahoma State (Nov. 23)...Had a career-high three steals in MSU’s win at Arkansas (Dec. 2)...Made at least one free throw in 10 of her 11 games...Hauled in eight rebounds versus Oral Roberts (Dec. 12).

2014-15: Played in every game for the Lady Bears with 30 starting assignments, joining Lisa Davies, Christiana Shorter, LaTanya Davis, Casey Garrison and Jackie Stiles as the only true freshmen in MSU history to start at least 30 games...Averaged 21.6 minutes, 4.4 points and 2.9 rebounds, with totals of 16 assists and 22 steals on the year...Earned 100 trips to the free throw line to rank third on the team, making 68...Had season highs of 11 points and three steals against SIUE (Dec. 6), going 7-for-8 from the foul line...Grabbed nine rebounds in MSU’s March 5 win at Indiana State, and had six boards against Evansville (March 14) and Tulsa (March 20) to average 5.2 boards over her last six games...Connected on three field goals and scored eight points against Drake (March 1)...Went 7-for-10 from the charity stripe and scored nine points at Evansville (March 7)...Attempted at least four foul shots in 15 games, and scored in 29 of 33 contests.

Background: The first Springfield native on the MSU roster since the 2006-07 season, Buckley joined the Lady Bears from nearby Parkview High School...First-team all-state pick and Ozark Conference Player of the Year after a senior season during which she averaged 20.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game while shooting 54 percent from the floor...First-team all-state selection as a junior with averages of 22.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per game...Grabbed 100 offensive rebounds as a junior with 39 assists, 66 steals and 14 blocked shots in 28 games...Averaged 24.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals as a sophomore to gain first-team all-district and all-conference recognition...Rated as the No. 24 prospect nationally at her position according to ESPN’s Hoopgurlz.com.
