                    PEORIA, Ill. -- Missouri State did not allow Bradley to hit above .000            in any set Sunday afternoon as the volleyball Bears captured a 25-15, 25-14, 25-14            victory over the Braves at Renaissance Coliseum. MSU moved to 9-6 overall and 3-1 in            Missouri Valley Conference matches, while Bradley dropped to 0-14 and 0-4 in league            play.        
                    The Bears accumulated 60 digs and nine blocks on the day, both season highs for a            three-set match, while limiting the Braves to 21 kills against 26 hitting errors for a            -.045 hitting efficiency. Bradley's hitting percentage was the lowest by an MSU            opponent in an MVC match in five years.        
                    The first set was close early until a 4-0 MSU run that included a pair of 
Andrea            Beaty blocks put the Bears ahead 10-7. The Braves pulled within a point at 14-13            when 
Lily            Johnson opened a 4-0 run with a kill and finished it with an ace to make the score            18-13. Missouri State then pulled away with a 6-0 run to close the set, registering            four blocks and 25 digs in the period, including 12 from 
Maddy            Hogan.        
            Missouri State out-scored the Braves 21-6 to end the second set after Bradley jumped            ahead 8-4. Beaty had two kills during a 7-0 run that put the Bears up 11-8, and            finished the period with six kills as MSU steadily pulled away. Bradley notched six            kills against eight errors while MSU hit .273 and served a pair of aces.        
                    The Bears never trailed in the third set, gradually expanding the lead from a 4-4 tie            and getting it to double digits after back-to-back 
Olivia            Brand kills made the score 17-7. BU committed 10 errors in the set, equaling            Missouri State's total for the match as the Bears hit .245 with 36 total kills.        
            Beaty led Missouri State with 10 kills and hit .421, while Brand added nine and hit            .364 with one attack error. Hogan scooped 23 digs, a career high for a three-set match,            and 
            Kinsey McCarter logged a double-double with 27 assists and 12 digs to go with a            pair of aces. 
Simone            House contributed to six of MSU's nine blocks, while Beaty and 
Lauren            Boone had three apiece.        
            Missouri State opens a three-match homestand Friday at 7 p.m. against Drake (9-5, 1-2).
