SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Missouri State softball doubleheader against Labette Community College scheduled for Wednesday (Sept. 17) has been postponed due to torrential rain and flash flooding in Springfield. The games have been rescheduled for Tuesday, September 30 at 4:00 and 6:00 p.m.

MSU is 2-0 so far this fall, defeating Neosho Community College is a doubleheader sweep last Tuesday.

The Bears return five starters and 11 letterwinners from last year's 28-27 team that advanced to the quarterfinals of the MVC Tournament.

Missouri State will begin the 2015 campaign in early February, the 27th season for head coach Holly Hesse.
