Unplayable field conditions and weather forecasts including frigid temperatures below the league minimum for play have caused the cancellation of the entire weekend series at Loyola. Attempts to relocate the series were unsuccessful and no makeup dates are planned.

The series would have marked the first-ever meeting between Missouri State (18-9, 1-2) and Loyola (10-15, 1-2) on a softball diamond.

Missouri State returns to Killian Stadium next week for four games beginning on Wednesday (March 26) at 5:00 p.m. versus Tulsa. The Bears will host Southern Illinois for a league series on Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30 with games starting at noon both days.
