NCAA Women's Coaches Academy Information
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Missouri State softball head coach Holly Hesse continues to be an active leader in several women's organizations. As a member of the Alliance of Women Coaches (The Alliance) Board of Directors and the NCAA Women's Coaches Academy, Hesse will speak at the conference next week.
Hesse will speak at the NCAA Women's Coaches Academy events in Denver, Colo., from December 8-12. She will present on her book "The Diamond of Success" and lead a session on management strategies.
Still an active member of the Springfield chapter of the Women's Intersport Network (WIN), Hesse will begin her 27th season at Missouri State in early February. Last season, Hesse won her 500th game as a staff with associate head coaches Sue Frederick and Beth Perine and has 674 wins at the helm of the Bears.
During her tenure at Missouri State, Hesse has guided the Bears to two regular season conference titles and five NCAA Tournament appearances. Her 47 wins in the MVC Tournament are the most among Valley coaches.
