SPRINGFIELD - The Missouri State men's soccer team (5-3-2) will have another chance at Oral Roberts (4-3-2) on Tuesday night. The two sides met earlier in the season at ORU, where the Golden Eagles scored a late goal to earn the 1-0 victory in double-overtime.
Plenty has happened since that September 1st contest. The Bears have since won both of their Missouri Valley Conference games and have claimed a share of the SMU Invitational championship, with goalkeeper Addison Watson earning the shutout in all four of these games. ORU, on the other hand, brings a two-match unbeaten streak to Betty & Bobby Allison South Stadium, and will play for the first time on the new MSU pitch.
These two teams are very familiar with each other. This will be the fourth game between the two schools since the 2013 season, and the 22nd overall matchup. The Bears are 10-0-3 in home matches all-time against Oral Roberts.
The game will be streamed live courtesy of Bears All-Access and can be retrieved from the link above. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at Allison South Stadium. The first 504 Missouri State students will receive a free sock for the school's first "Sock Night".
